Andrew Wolaniuk

Andrew Wolaniuk is a senior project and engineering leader, with a twenty-year background in managing large scale, multi-stakeholder complex infrastructure projects—particularly in the energy and utilities sectors.

In his role, as Director, Project Planning and Delivery he leads the development and execution of major infrastructure projects. He develops business cases and project work plans, ensuring all deliverables are strategically aligned with community, financial, and operational goals for this critical Nation Building Project, helping shape a cleaner, more connected future for Nunavummiut. With a foundation in electrical engineering and a career spanning public, private, and Indigenous-partnered environments, Andrew brings a balanced focus on technical integrity, community engagement, and unity to deliver transformational value creation for future generations. From his AESO project management tenure leading the Foothills Area Transmission Development Program (240 kV transmission lines, 240/138 kV substation, interconnecting 860MW Shepard Energy Centre to the grid) and his leadership, project direction, and governing duties on LNGCanada, his work reflects a strong alignment with environmental responsibility and reconciliation. Andrew is known for delivering complex projects with clarity, collaboration, and purpose. In addition to his full project lifecycle expertise, as a lifelong learner, Andrew holds a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, has a Master’s Certificate in Project Management, earned his MBA, and remains part of the Project Management Practitioner community. Outside of work, he is passionate about providing mentorship, serving his community, and enjoys being active. He deeply cherishes spending quality and outdoor time with his two children and wife.
