With more than 20 years of international experience across the energy and infrastructure sectors, Mathieu brings expertise spanning technical, commercial, and capital project leadership. A Professional Geologist with an MBA in Global Energy Management and Sustainable Development, he specializes in aligning complex infrastructure delivery with long-term community, stakeholder, and organizational objectives. His career includes senior geology, business development, and marketing roles with Talisman Energy and Repsol in Calgary, Madrid, and Kuala Lumpur; business strategy leadership for the natural gas portfolio at Cenovus Energy; and most recently, directing multi-million-dollar capital programs for low-carbon cementitious solutions across North America at Graymont. Mathieu also serves as a Board Advisor on the Audit & Finance Committee of Volleyball Alberta and is a member of the Association of International Energy Negotiators.
